About Our Bags
WasteZero is unique in that we make all of our own supplies in
our manufacturing plant in Hemingway, South Carolina. Our WasteZero
custom imprinted plastic trash bags are made with recycled content,
ensuring a constant focus on the environment.
When evaluating plastic bags for your next-generation
pay-as-you-throw program - or any trash or recyling need - it
is critically important to understand the differences
between products, and to be aware that not all bags
are created equal. There are several elements to consider,
including:

below.
Gauge
Gauge describes the thickness of the material. The higher the number, the thicker the material and the more resistant to punctures and tears it should be.
Color
WasteZero produces a set of standard colors for our bags, but can accommodate your specific needs. Whether you want to match the town colors or just ensure the bags are as visible as possible, we can deliver.
Closure and Capacity
Drawstring closures are by far the most popular with residents - more than 70% of plastic trash bags sold in grocery stores are drawstring. In addition, other closure options - like twist tie or wave top - have a smaller capacity and thus hold less trash.
Custom Printing
Include your municipality's seal, recycling instructions, contact information, and more on every bag. The choice is yours.
Packaging
WasteZero's flexibility in bag production means we can deliver exactly what you want, including packaging types. Do you want 5 or 10 bags per pack? Do you prefer the bags be interleaved, rolled, folded, or perforated? What about sleeve (bag) versus box for on-shelf packaging? We deliver it all.
Recycled Content
What's the point of a trash reduction program if the bags are not made with recycled content? Believe it or not, not all bags are. WasteZero knows how to blend recycled content with other customer requirements (color, thickness) to deliver the best bag for the specifications.
